I was a bit skeptical about our purchase as the only black Bosch dishwasher we found available was this model and I wasn't sure it would have the quietness as other models. Was I ever wrong! It is so quiet and cleans my dishes as they have not been cleaned for years. Everything looks like new. I love it!!

I expected more from Bosch. My disappointment is with the lower rack design. The tines are slanted and one side is designed very close together. It's difficult to get more than 3 bowls on that side. If I put them on the top, they take up a lot of room.

There is so much wrong with this dishwasher. I am very unhappy. The racks have horrible spacing. You can only fit a few dishes, bowls, and cups. Nothing like the manual picture...The silverware baskets don't fit the space. The washer stays wet inside for days unless I leave it open. I am so disappointed with this model. My cheap builer grade dishwasher was much better. I would return it but it's too much of a pain to remove and install a new one. So I guess I'm stuck...

This is not my first Bosch Dishwasher. I had one in my last house as well as my second home. These dishwashers are so quiet I can sit 10 feet away in the living room and not hear it operating. It cleans so much better then the last unit that came with this house when I moved in. The installer did a great job as well.

I recently replaced my 20 year old Bosch dishwasher wirh anew Bosch. I worked as a home economist for Fl Power & Light at one time and was trained by appliance companies as to how to use different applicnces so I could teach customers in their homes with new appliances. I knew I wanted Bosch again be cause of the great service I had with my first one. It does clean well, but the inside design is terrible. It is so frustrating to load and because of this doesn't hold as much. I am sorry I selected this model. However at 92 years, I think I am stuck with it. It doesn't dry well and the rinse liquid that is supposed to help dry is a joke-- it just doesn" work. This is the only make dishwasher I considered because of the wonderful job the first Bosch I had was so great. It looks nice in my kitchen (I chose a black one), but loading itis such a chore. I was a home economist with FL Power & Light and was trained by appliance compomise how to use electric appliances in able to teach new customers how to use them. I kne from that experience that I wasnted a Bosch. But the inside design of this one is not good.- It is very hard to load It is so frustrating to try to load that I am sorry I chose it. And it dose not dry well. I have used the liquid rinse, but that doesn't dry them well either. At 92 years I gusee I am stuck with this one as I will do. I f you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

After replacing the drain pump twice on our Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher the third time the chinese made replacement parts failed we decided to order a Bosch 300 only to discover the lead time for delivery was almost 6 months away. Decided on the cheap Ascenta that was in stock at Lowes. Very easy to install. Compared to the Kenmore this dishwasher is wonderful. Easy to load and unload. no pre-washing dishes, Just scrape the glued on food. We've only had it for a month. I hope I won't have to revise this review in the future.

After our existing dishwasher broke after 13 years of use, we looked to see what was out there. We didn't want to spend a lot of money especially with features we didn't need. This Bosch Ascenta really fit our short list. We like the black exterior, the fact that it as aluminum siding and the whole concept of PureDry along with being Energy Star certified was icing on the cake. Our most heavily used feature is the express wash which is only 30 minutes and does a great job on getting all the dishes clean. No heating element since it uses evaporative/condensation for cooling - one less thing to break. Highly recommended!

This dishwasher is new so it is reasonable that it works perfectly. So far it is doing a very good job of cleaning. The one problem is with the user manual. Changing the settings depends on pressing button "A". But button "A" is not identified any place in the manual. By accident I must have pressed this button because it is now set in "auto" which lets the machine determine the proper setting. As long as this does not change the dishwasher should continue to operate properly.

I am very pleased with this dishwasher as it does a great job cleaning quietly. It doesn't have fancy features, but it is a great value and does what it is supposed to. The only lack is the dish tines are a bit weird for fitting dishes, but I knew this would not fit as many dishes as more expensive products. Bosch has always been my favorite brand of dishwashers and I have missed having one the last few years, so I am thrilled to have a good dishwasher again.

Bosch seems to be the way to go, even this lower model is good. It's pretty quiet. It makes some gurgling and water sounds during the cycle but overall very quiet but I'm comparing it to like a 10-20-year-old thing that was falling apart. Hopefully, it holds up like all the ratings and reviews say it will. I'm still trying to get used to loading the racks, but you can fit a lot of large things in there if you need to, but it's the normal plates and cups of ours that don't seem to quite fit neatly in the prongs. I do like the adjustability/versatility of the racks.

I like everything about the dishwasher except how it can be loaded. While I seem to be able to load more items I have difficulty with small bowls such as a ceral bowls. It would have been nice to have larger openings in the utensile holder to hold spatulas etc and small parts.

"Consumer Reports" says Bosch is the best for dishwashers, just as LG is the best for washers and dryers. I purchase an LG washer and dryer online not too long ago, and have no regrets. Hence, I had little reservations about ordering a Bosch dishwasher online from Lowes. My one reservation was the design of the racks. Shouldn't one see them in a store first? I decided no and totally regret that! First the good . . . This Bosch is wonderful at cleaning, quiet as can be, has both long and short (30 minutes) wash cycles, a sanitizer option, an easy-to-use control panel, and has a door that is both easy to open and close. It does not have heat dry apparently, though, but all the dishes come out totally dry, with the exception of plastic containers. Nevertheless, they do dry if the dishes are not put away right after the cycle finishes. No different than the KitchenAid dishwasher being replaced. It also has a timer that counts down, so you know when your dishes will be done, something the KitchenAid lacked. Plus, it was the least expensive Bosch. I no longer see expensive appliances as being a necessity. Some less expensive models of appliances strangely often last longer than the more expensive ones. Finally, installation was no problem for our plumber. He installed it quickly, including redoing everything under the sink, and charged a little less than $200. Now the bad . . . . Both the bottom and top rack designs are unbelievably terrible. Do they have different type dishes, pots and pans in Germany or something? Seriously, the tines are either too close or too far apart to easily place everyday dishes, pots and pans. It does hold a lot of plates at one time, however, if that is something you want. They come out clean, too, even though you would think they would not, due to the closeness of the tines. The two silverware holders are also nice, because you can easily take one out at a time and carry it to the silverware or utensil drawers. In addition, you don't have to use both, if not needed, which provides more space. Yet the space left is just more challenging space to fit in dishes. Bowls on the bottom rack tend either to not fit, or to have so much space that they can't stay upright. I'm not exaggerating about the strangeness of the racks. Make sure you see the racks in a store, if you think I am. Also, no users who have little patience, or lack loading skills, should even consider for a moment buying this dishwasher. Plus, no one who has a tendency to pull out bottom racks quickly should get it. There's a great handle on the bottom rack to grab and pull, but if you pull too forcefully, the rack goes off the rails! Finally, with the exception of plates, this dishwasher holds a lot less than the KitchenAid we had, so that's more loads that have to be done. We were already doing one a day. In conclusion, Bosch needs to redesign the racks and provide free replacements to buyers of this dishwasher. Of course, they won't do that. They'll just forward my complaints to their designers. Little good that will do. Right now, my chances of ever buying another Bosch dishwasher is zilch. After I was so excited about finally getting one . . . . P.S. Only a quick-start manual was included, not the full-size one online.

Well, not really fair, we have a Samsung 'frig', a brand always tops for lousiness. Still, Bosh you'd think w/b a favorite - based on their supposedly substantial reputation. Basic house, we got their basic model washer. Weeeeell, I will say it's quiet. And quite sturdy. So sturdy in fact that a 6'-1' man - who daily walks an 87lb Staffie that pulls most of the way - finds it hard to open the door. It's just stiff on its pivot. I finally called Bosch about it but they won't cover a visit because it's over a year old. (visit is $125) I told them it was stiff the day we got it but after a several month wait for the problematic local Lowe's to get its act together to get it to us, we were just happy to have a working DW. Perhaps i should've mentioned it's even in a family of 2 so barely used Pros: really quiet; gets pots & dishes really clean Cons: company won't come out to adjust or examine their product almost new. Top washer propeller fell off - :)! talk about "happy days are here again"

This dishwasher is very quiet. I can hear it when it runs, but only if standing next to it. Our old one was so loud you couldn't have a conversation in the kitchen while it was running! I do not use the finish aid as it instructs and the dishes still come out clean. I personally do not like the way the racks are designed. It's difficult to fit anything other than plates on the bottom rack. Great for a giant party, but not practical for my everyday purposes. Everything just gets tossed in haphazardly and there's usually one or two things that come out dirty. This dishwasher also seems to not have a dry cycle. Even after letting the dishwasher sit all night, the dishes are still wet in the morning. Not a huge deal as we live in a dry climate, but would be very annoying in a humid location.

This is the first Bosch product I've owned, and I love it. My old dishwasher died, and we had to get another asap. Most of the brands we saw were rediculously expensive, and didn't seem worth the price. This model was less expensive than a low model GE. And it had so much more to offer. I like the nylon rungs, my last GE rusted through after 4 years. I like the number of washing selections, and I like how they are displayed on the front. I love that the interior is stainless steel. I like that it dries without using a heating element at the bottom! It gets our dishes cleaner than any dw I've ever owned, and I never pre-rinse the dishes. It is so quiet, you can hear the water being swished around, but you can't hear the motor. The dishes are dry, even right after the cycle finishes. there is only one thing I would change, and that is the way the dishes load, it is very different from any dishwasher I've used.But I am finding different ways to load and it's all working. I am so happy that I bought this dishwasher!
